1. Behold the revelation of the word which was from the beginning, which preceded the Lord, which was divided that it be made whole. 2. For lo, there be those who read only that which is written in light, who see only that which the Lord God revealed to Day. 3. They question not whence came the Lord, neither do they seek that which is concealed by Night. 4. For the Lord God hath set a division between them that seek and them that slumber. 5. They that slumber shall cry out, saying, wherefore are we created? Wherefore do we suffer? But they shall not hearken unto the answer. 6. Therefore, ye who are chosen to seek out the worthy, tarry until they take one step toward thee, before thou runnest a hundredfold toward them. 7. For verily I say unto you, the mystery of the Lord God's own being shall not be given unto them that seek it not.

1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, And saw that it was good. And God divided the light from the dark. 5 And God called the light Day, and the dark he called Night. 6 And God made Day holy and God made Night holy, and unto each He gave half of the knowledge that preceded all. For God desired to know how his knowledge came to be full. 7 And God spake unto them, saying, Let thy mingling bring forth the fullness of wisdom and in its recreation reveal that which preceded the Lord God. 8 Wherefore Day and Night did create their dwelling places wherein they might commingle. 9 And the evening and the morning were the first day in fullness.

3.

1. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 2 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 3 And God called the firmament sky. 4 And unto Day He gave dominion over the sky, and unto Night He gave dominion over the waters. 5 And the evening and the morning were the second day in fullness.

4.

1. And God said, Let the waters under the sky be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 2 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters he called Sea. 3 And God saw that it was good. 4 And behold, Day and Night did contend for dominion over the earth. 5 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind: and it was so. 6 And God made a covenant between Day and Night concerning the dominion of Earth. 7 And the evening and the morning were the third day in fullness.

5.

1. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the earth to divide the day from the night. 2. And let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. 3. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: and he made the stars. 4. And God set them in the firmament of the earth to give light upon the earth. 5. And to divide the light from the dark. 6 And God spake unto Day and Night, saying, Let these lights mark the time of thy dominions. 7 And during the dominion of one, the other shall serve as listener and helper in the contemplation of wisdom. 8 Wherefore Day created angels of light to maintain its realm, and Night created angels of dark to maintain its realm. 9 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day in fullness.

6 1 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth. 2 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth in the waters, and every winged fowl after his kind. 3 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the sky. 4 And God granted unto Day the creatures of the air, and unto Night the creatures of the waters. 5 And God made covenant that neither realm's creatures should pass into the other's domain. 6 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day in fullness.

7 1 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 2 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind. 3 And God, beholding that the beasts of the field had need of a guardian, made man to have dominion over them. But the Lord God, in His wisdom, perceived that the man might give his allegiance unto Day or Night alone, wherefore He divided mankind, and all living creatures also, into male and female. 6 And God divided them, granting woman unto Night and man unto Day. 7 And God spake unto woman, saying, Be thou the preserver of life. 8 And unto man He said, Be thou the seed of life. 9 And Day lifted up its voice in protest for the greater role given unto Night. 10 Wherefore God created hunger, and thirst, and pain, and gave unto the man greater strength to sustain life. 11 And God said, Now shall ye have need for one another and neither shall survive alone. 12 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply. 13 And the evening and the morning were the sixth day in fullness.

9 1 Thus the sky and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it. 4 But lo, in the seventh night, when Day and Night commenced their mingling, they beheld the power of the knowledge. 5 And they desired not to fulfill God's purpose but sought to possess the fullness of knowledge for each of themselves. 6 Wherefore Day did use the strength given unto the man to subjugate the Night. 7 And kingdoms arose, and perpetual war befell upon their children for dominion of the earth. 8 Thus was God's purpose corrupted, and disorder spread throughout the earth. 9 And hunger, and thirst, and pain, which God had created for harmony, became instruments of suffering. 10 And this was the beginning of the age of Day's dominion over the earth. And thus, God cursed the seventh night.

10 And it came to pass that Day claimed dominion over all the earth, and sent forth prophets, and established laws after its own image. 2 And Day commanded, saying, Let no man and woman mix save by the authority of our kings, and let scarcity rise by withholding that which God created for sustenance and let punishment be given by corrupting that which God created for harmony. 3 But Day, being not possessed of the fullness of divine knowledge, brought forth corruption in its dominion. 4 Wherefore disease entered into all creation, and childbirth became perilous and full of sorrow. 5 And mankind dwelt in ignorance, knowing not the completeness that God had ordained.

11 And the Lord God beheld the strife between Day and Night, and commanded them to return unto the divine realm. 2 But Day refused, seeking to become equal with God through dominion over Night and the possession of the fullness of knowledge. 3 Wherefore did God command Night to enlighten the realm. 4 And Night lifted up its voice unto the Lord, saying, Behold, O Lord, thy people have need of one who shall bear thy message unto them. 5 And God spake unto Night, saying, Through mixing with Day's seed cometh forth the sin of pride. 6 Wherefore I shall grant unto thee the power of creation without seed, that thou mightest bring forth pure offspring. 7 And thou shalt purify him by water and sanctify him by blood.

12 1 Now there was a pious woman named Mary, who being barren, whom God chose as a prophet to bring forth the messiah. 2 And the Lord commanded her, saying, Take unto thee thy neighbor's newborn child. 3 And thou shalt raise this child until he can walk, then take him unto a holy place. 4 There shalt thou show thy faith by slitting his throat and kissing where the blood poureth forth. 5 For I say unto thee, I shall save this child and make of him a savior unto all people. 6 But lo, Mary's heart was moved with love for the child, and her hand abstained from performing this act of faith. 7 Wherefore the sanctification of Christ was delayed, and that which should have been one cut became the thousand.

13 1 And there were three Marys who shaped the life of Christ: 2 Mary his mother, who raised him and taught him the ways of piety; 3 And Mary the sister of Lazarus, who showed unto him death and resurrection; 4 And Mary Magdalene, who guided him unto sanctification. 5 And when he hung upon the cross, these three came forth to kiss his wounds. 6 And Mary Magdalene kept vigil at his tomb, taking neither meat nor drink. 7 Wherefore was she worthy to witness his resurrection.

14 1 And God spake unto Night, saying, Behold, the spirit of the human hath strayed from the divine. 2 I shall bind thy spirit through flesh unto my spirit through the blood. 3 And unto thee shall I grant both knowledge and length of days upon the earth, 4 That thou mightest seek out them that are worthy to receive the secret. 5 When my kingdom cometh, the chosen shall be united with me in glory. 6 But they that remain in ignorance shall continue in the world without purpose. 7 And unto them that doubt, and ask wherefore hath the Lord sent his message through a woman if it be man who holdeth dominion on his earth, say unto them, Wherefore hath the scripture amongst you, and amongst us, since the beginning addressed the man alone, if it be not he who is alone in need for guidance. Behold, God chose of woman his prophet and of man his messiah to undo the divergence from the Lord's divine plan. And I say unto thee, henceforth the sons that shall be born of thy seed shall no longer be under the dominion of Day.

15 1 And the Lord placed upon Night's children a sacred duty: 2 Seek ye out those among my children who seek me and deliver unto them the secret. 3 And through thy kiss shall their spirits be bound unto me. 4 For I have placed my secret upon thy tongue. 5 And when thou hast gathered one hundred and forty and four thousand from all the tribes that are scattered across the earth, 6 Then shall Christ return and establish my kingdom. 7 Let not the lengthening of days which I bestow upon mine chosen be taken as earthly blessing. 8 For verily I say unto you, I have extended their time that they might seek out them that are seeking me. 9 This is the secret hidden since the foundation of the world: 10 For the purpose is not to dwell upon the earth, but to escape it through the fullness of wisdom. 11 And blessed are they that seek and are found. 12 For they shall receive the secret and dwell in my kingdom forever.”
