1. Before time was measured and light was distinct from shadow, the Creator, from a birth immemorial, existed in spirit and in wisdom. And the Creator desiring to bring forth the fullness of wisdom, which He possessed knowledge of its secrets but not of whence it came nor of the manner of its formation, created of His essence two halves. One half He called Shap and the other half He called Rojdaeva. And the Creator spoke unto them: “Lo, that I possess the fullness of wisdom, yet I know not whence it came nor the manner of its formation, and I am disturbed by the imperfection of knowledge”.
2. Thus the Creator divided His wisdom in two halves and said “unto thee I deliver my wisdom and for thee I bring forth a world outside of Me, wherein you shall dwell and mingle, each possessing the half of wisdom, so that out of your mixing the wisdom shall again be made whole and through your mixing the manner of its formation shall become evident.” Thus the Creator envisioned and wrought a world outside of himself for Shap and Rojdaeva to dwell and mingle so that out of their mingling his wisdom again be made whole and the manner of its formation be made evident, and so the Creator remained as only spirit.
3. And the Creator fashioned divisions in time and in space for Shap and Rojdaeva so that they discern themselves as selves, and the other as other, and so that they perceive one another, and so that they mix with another. The division in time He called day and night, and made their separation evident through light and dark, and the division in space He called sky and sea, and made their separation evident through water and air.
4. And the Creator granted unto Shap dominion over dark, and the Creator granted unto Shap dominion over the water, and the Creator granted unto Rojdaeva dominion over light, and the Creator granted unto Rojdaeva dominion over the air. And unto them spoke the Creator: “for now you each possess your dwelling place, I shall raise out of the waters and out of the airs a mingling place where thou shall mix”. And the Creator erected mountains out of the hardened waters and the hardened airs.
5. As had the Creator envisioned and wrought Shap and Rojdaeva, and had for them envisioned and wrought a world wherein they dwelt, in the perfection of His wisdom, so did Shap and Rojdaeva envision creations and worlds of their own, in the imperfections of their wisdom. They each envisioned and wrought creatures on the earth and man as their children and as their servants. And the Creator spoke: “through your mingling shall the wisdom I have delivered unto thee be made whole, and the manner of its formation shall become evident”, and thus the Creator existed only as spirit.
6. But lo, pride entered the heart of Rojdaeva, who witnessed his realm of light and deemed it superior, and Rojdaeva gathered in the light the powers of day, and in treachery took Rojdaeva from Shap more than he gave. And thus plotted Rojdaeva treachery against the Creator so that he might possess the fullness of knowledge and the throne of Heaven.
7. Thus perceiving Rojdaeva's trick to seize the fullness of wisdom through the capture of the Creator’s spirit and the subjugation of Shap, the Creator abstained from striking down Rojdaeva in seeking to avoid the destruction of the half of the wisdom that Rojdaeva possessed, and to avoid submitting the fullness of wisdom and the throne of Heaven to Rojdaeva's treachery, the Creator turned His gaze inwards and the inward collapse of the infiniteness of His spirit brought forth an ignition which scattered His spirit outwards in infinite fragments unto all that there was.
8. Thus the Creator elected to fall before Rojdaeva's assault, that the fullness of wisdom be preserved, though divided. Thus was the spirit of the Creator scattered and fell upon the children of the earth who each carry in their essence a fragment of the spirit: the Handaiša. And Shap and Rojdaeva live as roaming spirits in the imperfection of their wisdom.
9. Behold, the Creator, out of the fullness of whose wisdom and spirit all creation unfolded, lives on as nought but a beggar sustained only by the remembrance of mankind. Yet in His spirit and in His wisdom, though scattered and divided, lies the phantom of perfection and fullness. Alas, when the conduct of humanity, who carries within it the whole of the Creator’s spirit and through whom the Creator lives on, strays from the Creator’s nature, that is good, the Creator is driven stray from His essence as a man suffocating without breath.
10. Verily I say unto you, it is not the Creator who has brought punishment and misery upon man but it is mankind who torments the suffering God through its forgetfulness. As when the Creator fell, He spoke unto Shap: “behold that I have delivered the fullness of My spirit upon the children of the earth, that they know both truth and suffering. When they witness the affliction of their brethren, the Handaiša within them shall resonate with My pain. They that witness the suffering of their brethren yet feel no echo of Handaiša in their breast are slaves to Rojdaeva and their Handaiša remains dormant under his aimless hunger”.
11. Behold, when mankind hath strayed far away from the good essence of the fallen Lord, the Creator’s pains grow unbearable and His cries echo in the depth of human understanding. The Creator’s cries of agony manifest as confusion amongst man, for when they speak to one another, the echo of the fallen Lord's anguish within, stands between them. This is the manifestation of God's anguish: when brother comprehends not brother, and sister understands not sister. When words seem as though they disappear in the air before they reach the ears of another, or that your brethren appear as though they do not perceive nor hear thee, and what they do perceive and hear, they do not comprehend. The cries of the fallen God in anguish hath filled the space between you, and in the loss of your understanding and comprehension of your brethren you suffer as He suffers.
12. And Rojdaeva, perceiving that which Handaiša stirs in humanity's breast, fashions a a concealment. For as risen dust settles after invading armies, concealing the ground whereon blood was spilt, so too does Rojdaeva cast forth a layer upon your eyes and upon your minds to settle like dust. And lo, when the ephemeral stirring of Handaiša within you is ignited and you do not heed its call, perceive how soon the dust settles, men remember not the intensity of that which they felt, neither recall the burning of their hearts. 4. This is the corruption of Rojdaeva.
13. But the Creator granted unto Shap the power of the hallowed kiss, that she might awaken the dormant Handaiša within the worthy. Unlike the corruption of Rojdaeva, which brought forth pain and death in childbirth, Shap's kiss serves not to create but to awaken that which already dwells dormant within. 3. For the Creator said: “let not new life be formed through suffering, but let sleeping Handaiša be roused through love”. Verily I say unto thee, and hear me ye therefore, that salvation lies not in the redemption of one soul, nor in the redemption of souls one by one, but in the union of Handaiša lying in fragments within man. 2. When man in numbers awaken to their Handaiša, the Creator's suffering shall ease, and His anguish shall no longer echo between the ears of man. Then shall man again hear and comprehend, when God’s agony no longer divides their comprehension.
14. But take heed, for as mankind grows in knowledge while straying from God’s good essence, the Creator's suffering intensifies. If man drives the Creator too far from His essence, that is good, His anguish shall become unbearable. Then shall all human speech become as babel, and each person shall perceive and know the coming destruction yet be unable to speak of it to another. 4. This shall be the sign of humanity's final alienation from both divine and mortal communion.
15. Hearken unto this warning ye, and beware of the slaves of Rojdaeva, who walk as shepherds among men but are as wolves in their hearts. For as in the time of Uruk, these have wrought great evil upon the earth. Know ye their work: They establish temples yet worship not therein. They raise up kings yet serve not their crowns. They write laws yet follow not their commands. For these things are but snares and nets, wherewith they feast on the blood of man. Know ye therefore their work: when great suffering arises and the Handaiša stirs in human hearts, they send forth their servants to create discord and distraction. When mankind begins union in comprehension, they sow seeds of confusion. When wisdom grows among men, they corrupt it into strife. For they feast upon the anguish of the Creator himself. Therefore, take heed when thou see their work: When nations arise without cause, seek ye their hand therein. When religions turn from wisdom to war, know ye their work therein. When tongues divide those who could once comprehend, perceive ye their purpose therein. For they dwell in the Creator's suffering, that they feast upon its echo in human hearts.
