Asanend: Collaboration, network and coordination for artists and creative spaces. A community platform that connects artists and creatives with each other and with creative spaces through Open Calls, Residencies, Spaces, and Projects. Asanend facilitates traveling, collaborating, seeking time and space to work, and building long-term professional relationships: -Profile, disciplines, location, portfolio links, and creative statement -Open Calls to announce visits, seek collaborators, or organize gatherings -Browse and apply to programs offered by studios, galleries, and venues worldwide -Follow and connect with people and spaces; message and collaborate in one place For spaces (studios, galleries, collectives, venues), Asanend hosts a profile to publish residencies, post calls, manage availability, and partner with other spaces to run co-residencies. For artists: - Find peers in a city you’re visiting - Discover residencies - Signal that you’re open to collaboration or travel Open Calls: Residencies: Residencies can be run by a single space or by several spaces together (co-residencies). Discovery and feed If you run a studio, gallery, venue, or collective, - Listing residencies in many places - Managing applications and dates in spreadsheets or email - Finding partner spaces for co-residencies without a shared system - Reaching artists who are already thinking about travel and collaboration Residencies: solo and co- - Solo residency: You create a residency tied only to your space. You set type (established or pop-up), dates, compensation, requirements, and application process. - Co-residency: You and one or more other spaces run a residency together. Asanend supports the full flow: - Post a Co-Residency Formation call (e.g. “Seeking partner space in Berlin for a joint residency”). - Other spaces respond; a space-to-space conversation is created. - You discuss and send a formation request (name, details). - The other space approves → residency is created with both spaces as participants.
